Do you have what it takes to be a Presenter?? SABC 3 is looking for 3 new presenters. 1 for Expresso 1 for Top Billing 1 for the new TV show that will soon be on TV If you believe you have what it takes
What do you need? Aside from being an awesome presenter you will need: An entry form - you can fill it out online and bring it along with you to the auditions. A photo - please bring one nice photo of yourself that will be attached to your entry form. What to bring: 1. A printed copy of you completed entry form 2. A printed signed copy of the Presenter Search on 3 Terms & Conditions (T&Cs will be loaded on presentersearchon3.com on the 24 January 2015) 3. A photograph of yourself Extras: 1. Refreshments and snacks 2. A sun hat or umbrella to protect yourself from the sun/rain 3. A book or something to keep you entertained during your wait for your audition What to prepare: Prepare a 'link' or a short introduction about yourself in the style of the host presenter. Be as creative and original as possible and let your star quality shine. You will be required to be able to walk and deliver you prepared link at the same time. Parking: There will be minimal parking available so please make a plan to be dropped off and picked up once your audition has finished. Please Note: Please be prepared for long lines and lengthy waits. We will do everything we can to make sure the process runs as smoothly has possible however due to the number of people wanting to audition the process will take most of the day. How the audition process will work: Phase one: In the first phase you will be judged by one of our preliminary judges. The judges will be specifically chosen members of the Tswelopele and Cardova staff. During this first phase you will need to present a 'link' or a short introduction about yourself in the style of the host presenter. During this process the judges will select the best candidates to be called back for phase two of the judging process. Phase Two: The second phased is a call back phase. If you have made it through to this phase you will be notified by a member of the Presenter Search on 3 team. If you are not called back then you did not make it through. In this phase you will be judged by a panel judges. The judges will be specifically chosen members of the Tswelopele and Cardova staff and presenters. During this second phase you will need to present a 'link' that you have prepared about yourself and present it in the style of the host presenter. You will also be given a 'link' to learn and present and may also be asked to conduct a mock interview. During this process the judges will select the best candidates to be part of the Top 30 (Phase Three). Phase Three (Top 30): If you have made it through to this phase you will be notified by a Presenter Search on 3 staff member. If you are not called back then you did not make it through. This process will be judged by our panel of celebrity judges. During this process you will be mentored and be required to do challenges designed to test your presenting skills. The best candidates will be called back for phase four, or the Top 12. Phase Four (Top 12): If you have made it through to the Top 12 you will be required to stay in either Cape Town or Joburg for the entire filming process of 7 weeks. Accommodation will be provided for all the finalists.
